This
book is about the known ancestry of Thomas,
Dustin, and Darin Baine of Jacksonville,
Florida. It also includes much information
regarding the ancestry of their relatives,
naturally. It is the culmination of
sixteen years of painstaking, frustrating, and
at times exhilarating research, labor, travel,
and expense. The book focuses on the last 500
years of our family history, although parts of
it reach back more than a thousand years. It
tells a story of courage, faith, and the pursuit
of happiness in the face of overwhelming odds,
despair, and loneliness. It is a story of a
group of people, starting over in a new land.
These are our people.
